So I will directly come on point. The first 2 hours your video is uploaded on YouTube are the most crucial because this is when YouTubes Algorithm is looking at your videos analytics and engagements to figure out whether or not boost your video on their platform.
Then secondary to those two hours are the first 24 hours that is first day your video is uploaded on YouTube.
So to give your video its best chance and to get more views you need to get as many views and engagement on your video in those 24 hours. The key to this or the key to get as many as views and engagement is to upload your videos at a time you know the majority of your audience is available to watch your video.
The most important thing is that your audience should know your publishing schedule and when to expect new content. (Make sure to include your schedule on your Channel Banner!)
That said, Today I will be telling you 4 strategies that will help you to find your best upload time.
YouTube Upload Time Strategy 1:-
Upload at a time majority of your audience is active on your channel. So to check where most of your audience lives, you have to go to your YouTube Studio and then in Analytics in your audience section you can see at what time a majority of your audience is active on your channel.
This YouTube feature will allow you to see at what time most of your audience is active on YouTube.
YouTube Upload Time Strategy 2:-
Publish your video in the morning where most of your audience lives.
Why? This strategy ensures that your video is live during all prime hours when the largest chunk of your audience is awake.
How? Head to your Watch Time analytics by country and see where you get the most views from.
If it’s the United States, you can click to drill down into individual States. Find the time zone of the most popular location and plan to publish around 6am relative to their local time.
YouTube Upload Time Strategy 3:-
Publish your video a few hours before your peak traffic hours.
Why? If you want views fast and increase the chance of virality, you might want to publish a couple hours before your audiences’ peak viewing day/time of the week.
Option 1: Head to your Real Time Viewer Analytics and examine your “last 24 hours” chart to find what hours of the day you get peak viewership and publish 2 or 3 hours before that.
Option 2: Connect your YouTube Channel to Google Analytics for daily and hourly in-depth data much beyond what YouTube Analytics offers.
(Note: Often times your peak analysis will coincide with your current publishing schedule. Keep this in mind when analyzing the data.)
YouTube Upload Time Strategy 4:-
Ask Your Subscribers What Times They’re Active on YouTube. So by either using your community tab on YouTube or your Instagram story whatever you have create either a question sticker on Instagram or create a poll on YouTube and ask your subscribers or followers where do they live or when are you on YouTube.
Then look through the responses you are getting on your polls or question stickers and see which common times keep coming back. See what watch times are coming from your subscribers and then try uploading on those times.
Through one of these strategies you are never going to get a perfect answer right of the back. It is going to take some trial and error. You never really have to stop and upload on the same time as your channel grows your audience is going to get more diverse so be active on your watch over analytics as they keep changing. So these are the 3 essential strategies that will help you to find your perfect time to upload your video. I hope this article will help you.
